Alexis + Kevin

On the 12th of August, Alexis and Kevin celebrated their love in a small and intimate wedding at the stunning Steam Plant in Downtown Spokane! The atmosphere was filled with beauty and romance as the couple exchanged their vows privately, appreciating the depth of their commitment to each other. The reception, however, overflowed with joy as friends and family gathered to honor their love and create cherished memories. Every moment was special and filled with love, making Alexis and Kevin's wedding a truly unforgettable occasion. Congratulations Alexis and Kevin! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! Not a super romantic story lol, it was 2 AM we were eating taco bell after just going to a wedding. We were talking about weddings, and he said he had to go to the bathroom and came back with an engagement ring!

The Dress! I knew exactly what I wanted my dress to look like, I wanted sexy, elegant and something timeless. The second dress I put on everyone knew it was the one, it fit me perfectly and I had never felt so beautiful in a dress. I did the VIP experience to pick out my dress and it was 100% worth it, I had the whole place to myself and was able to take my time trying on dress.

The Big Day! We wanted to have a small intimate wedding with our closest family and friends. The steam plant rooftop venue was the perfect place for us and they made the process so easy for planning! We didn’t have a photographer for our wedding, we had our family and friends that wanted to take pictures take pictures of the night that they knew we wanted to see. Our wedding favors were live plants that people got to take home after!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? Me and my husband did private vows, we were able to write all the sentimental things that we didn’t want our whole family hearing. We found a really beautiful spot that was private in our venue and were able to read them!

Special Memories! I had my mom put the finishing touches in my hair and had her help me get dressed and ready. She was always my rock growing up so having this special time with her was so important.

What advice would you give to future brides? Don’t stress, and don’t spend a ton of money on people things don’t care about. We had a very budget friendly wedding and nobody was disappointed in the decorations or what charger plate was under the centerpieces. Remember that you’re planning a day for you and your husband, not everyone else.

Kate + Cody

Kate and Cody's wedding on the 2nd of September at Gold Creek was an absolute blast! It was a perfect blend of romance and Western charm, filled with special moments that will be etched in everyone's hearts forever. As the sun gently set, their entire family stood witness to their love and commitment. And oh boy, did they dance the night away! The joyous atmosphere was contagious as laughter and music filled the air, creating a truly magical ambiance. But the highlight of the day? Kate's unforgettable entrance on a Razor before she gracefully walked down the aisle. And let's not forget the incredibly unique touch they added – branding a cowhide with their new family crest. It symbolized their unity and the start of their beautiful journey as husband and wife. It was a day filled with sweet memories, laughter, and love that will forever be cherished by not only Kate and Cody but also by everyone who was lucky enough to be a part of their special day. Congratulations Kate and Cody! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

Caitlynn + Jacob

Caitlynn and Jacob's wedding on the 19th of August was a picture-perfect celebration of love. The warm summer breeze danced through the outdoor venue as the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Every moment was infused with beauty and joy, creating memories that will last a lifetime. As they looked into each other's eyes, they knew that all the obstacles they had overcome were completely worth it. This was a day that marked the beginning of their forever, a testament to the power of love and resilience. Congratulations Caitlynn and Jacob! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! The proposal was more of an agreed decision. Jacob had been asking me to marry him for the past 3 years. December of 2022, I asked if he was serious and he said yes, then the planning started. He’s a little grumpy he didn’t get to propose, but he also wanted a courthouse wedding, I refused that.

The Dress! My dress journey was actually decently pleasant. I went to Davids first and I tried on multiple dresses. The one dress my gals liked the most was $1000. YIKES. This wedding was planned to not have us go into debt. Also, the young lady that was helping me kept disappearing and my sister/friends had to go hunt her down multiple times. As soon as I got to Believe Bride it was fast and an amazing experience. Meagan was the kind lady to help me out, and the VERY first dress she helped me into was the one. My sister and friend cried, and we tried on others of course but that first dress was everything I was looking for, and the price?! Only $499 compared to the $1000 at Davids. I loved Believe Bride and the service I received, and I always recommend it to brides.

The Big Day! My wedding was near the woods, an outdoor venue. It was almost a perfect day, but unfortunately the Medical Lake and Elk Fires went on a rampage the day before the wedding. There was smoke in the air, but it was almost unnoticeable in between the trees. We had more of a rustic themed, and the colors were Emerald Green, Gold, and a Taupe color. The day before the wedding my aunt and uncles house burned up in the Elk fire and my sister and her family were being evacuated with the Medical Lake fire. So instead of relaxing and having a calming night/day before the wedding I was driving manic everywhere trying to help my family, with a few breakdowns in between, I didn’t get home till 11pm that night. The next morning, I woke up at 6am to my little cousin screaming till her faced turned red because she wanted chocolate and was told no. I was NOT in a good mood. I honestly wanted my wedding day to be over so I can just go home and cuddle and cry to Jacob. He was the one I needed the most and I couldn't even see him. I ended up driving myself alone to the venue trying not to cry and mess up my makeup.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? After all I went through the day prior, all I wanted was Jacob. I think seeing him for the first time walking down the aisle will always be burned into my memory. The pent-up anxiety I was carrying almost drifted away when our eyes met, and I wanted nothing more but to be near him and hug him. But, also the emotion in his eyes, the love they carried and his bottom lip trembling as he saw me, will hold in my brain forever.

Special Memories: My mother has never been emotional, I’ve never witnessed this woman cry, nor really hug, she isn’t a touchy-feely person. She denied that she would cry at the wedding since she isn’t like that. But she said seeing me walk down the aisle, her baby girl, she bawled like a baby, and she actually held me and hugged me tight. It was a nice experience and I appreciated everything she did for me to have that experience and my wedding.

What advice would you give to future brides? Have someone or hire someone to record your ceremony. Pictures are nice and all. but I was stuck in a little cabin, with nothing but a window to look out of. I wanted to watch my wedding from a 3rd person point of view, because being in the wedding you can’t really witness it, like you could from a 3rd person point of view.

Kylee + Colton

On the 2nd of September, Kylee and Colton tied the knot in a wild western country wedding that perfectly matched their outdoorsy personalities. With breathtaking views of the majestic mountains as their backdrop, love was in the air and cowboy boots were on the dance floor. As the night ended, the couple was ready to embark on their adventures together, one trail at a time! Congratulations Kylee and Colton! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! My sister-in-law for my birthday gave me a photo session so I could get pictures with Colton. Little did I know it was a proposal, and the only day my sister-in-law had available was on my birthday. We had all our family there and we were in the most gorgeous place by a pond. My sister-in-law said she had a really good idea for pictures and asked me to close my eyes. Everyone was yelling at me to keep my eyes closed and I was really nervous and thought I was going to get a birthday present. And when I opened my eyes, Colton was on his knee and I got the best birthday present ever, a fiancé!

The Dress! I knew from the start I was going to have a hard time picking a dress because I am so picky and I always second guess myself. When I put my dress on for the first time, I had the biggest smile on my face. I loved the elegant lace, the blush undertone, the mesh sides, the neckline was exactly what I wanted, and the train was so beautiful. I didn’t say yes at first because I knew I had another appointment and at that appointment I couldn’t get that dress out of my head. We left and went back to Believe Bride and when I put the dress on again, I couldn’t help but immediately start crying.

The Big Day! My husband and I are very outdoorsy people. I’m not an ordinary bride I wanted that western/country wedding vibe. Our venue did just that. It was a gorgeous wooden barn, 2 patios one that looked over the ceremony field, and the ceremony field had the most amazing views of the mountains. It fit our personalities so perfectly. It was by far everything we had ever dreamed of.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? I can’t just pick one favorite part because everything was so amazing. I did many first looks, but my first look with my groom, my dad, and my first look with my grandmother were by far so special to me. They all cried and made me feel so incredibly beautiful. Another favorite part of the wedding was the cake cutting, or I really should say smashing! I told Colton not to smash cake in my face, and when we did it he was really nice and I smeared a little on his face and well…. He smashed an entire cupcake in my face and got it all in my eyelashes and well just coated my face. I was SO pissed, but then my mother in law smashed a cupcake in his face and it was everywhere! I couldn’t help but laugh even though I had to redo my makeup. And don’t worry, not a single drop got on my dress!

Special Memories! My most special memory from my wedding was the gift my mother gave me. My grandfather passed away years ago and the one thing I wanted was to have him at my wedding. Well, my mother got me this picture chain of my grandfather that I could clip onto my wedding bouquet. That will forever be so special to me.

What advice would you give to future brides? Control only what you can control. Things are going to go wrong during planning, setting up, and on the big day but stay calm and control what you can. By doing that you’ll remain so stress free and your day will be amazing!

Mariya + Johan

Mariya and Johan's wedding on the 23rd of September was a truly sweet and intimate affair, overflowing with tender moments between the couple and their cherished family. With heartfelt joy in their eyes, Mariya and Johan exchanged their vows in a private setting, allowing the purity of their love to shine through. Surrounded by the warm embrace of those who adored them, their ceremony became a testament to the power of love and the beauty of togetherness. It was a day filled with laughter, tears, and endless love—a day that will forever be etched in the hearts of all who witnessed the beginning of their journey as husband and wife. Congratulations Mariya and Johan! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! I was 8 months pregnant with our baby boy, we came home from a long day and as I walked into the house, he put on our song Tennessee Whiskey and proposed to me!

The Dress! I had no idea what I wanted in a dress. I used to love strapless dresses but since having a child I didn’t think one would look good on me until finally I put one on anyways and it made me feel beautiful and I instantly thought of how my fiancé would love it too!

The Big Day! One of our front rows was strictly saved for loved ones who passed away, the other side front row was for all the immediate family, since they would be joined into one. We did our first look before the ceremony, and it was beautiful and so intimate. Everything went extremely smooth and better than I could have ever imagined. Being surrounded by people who love us, and our children was the best part!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part was when we said I do because I was finally locking in my best friend and the family we have created permanently!

Special Memories! My uncle was the one who raised me since I was 3. My dad is on and off in my life and he came to the wedding but after he left, I put on a song that my uncle and I used to sing together all the time and dance with him along with singing it too!

What advice would you give to future brides? It’s a hard road, the stress of doing everything before the wedding is no joke but it is WORTH IT. All the small fights, all the big fights mean nothing after you finally say I do to the person you love. Don’t let the stress stop you from marrying who you love!

Faith + Hayden

Faith and Hayden's wedding on August 26th was an enchanting celebration that captured the essence of their love. The entire week leading up to the big day was filled with festivities, creating a magical atmosphere. From the thrilling rodeo and games, there was never a dull moment. On the day itself, warm smiles and watery eyes filled the air as Faith walked down the aisle, radiating sheer joy. The reception was just as amazing, with mouthwatering tacos and a hidden underground bar that added to the joyous occasion. As the night unfolded, an intense bridesmaid’s vs groomsmen dance off took place, leaving everyone ready to dance the night away. Faith and Hayden's wedding was a truly memorable event, etching itself into the hearts of all who attended. Congratulations Faith and Hayden! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! My now husband planned an entire day for me! We revisited all of our first date spots and got my favorite food and drinks, we painted and went for a drive and then ended on a bridge decorated with flowers and candles where he proposed!

The Dress! Along the journey to find my dress I tried to walk in with an open mind. Ever since I was little I dreamed of being a princess, so when I tried on my flower and sparkle filled dress I knew it was the one. I put it on and felt like a bride… I could see myself and my life to come all at once when I put on this dress. My face lit up and there wasn’t a second thought.

The Big Day! Ever since I was a little girl I have been planning extravagant birthday parties and sleepovers. So everyone knew this wedding was going to be BIG! We had around 5 days full of family and friends surrounding us as we prepared for the big day. We celebrated and enjoyed rodeo, shooting sports, and water adventures the entire week. Then came the day! So much family friends and love surrounding us and helping out! Through the ceremony there wasn’t a dry eye or laugh left out. The reception had bomb tacos that my mom made and not a single guest out of 300 missed their chance on the dance floor. The night ended with a bridesmaids vs grooms men dance off and we later found that the party continued even after we left! We truly felt celebrated and couldn’t have dreamed of anything better!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? We found that the entire wedding my uncle was running an underground bar, and it was very exclusive… LOL but mostly I enjoyed the part where I got to marry my best friend!

Special Memories! We honored our passed grandmas with a front row seat and got to have them there for our day.

What advice would you give to future brides? Enjoy being engaged! Have fun with it and don’t stress too much! All that matters is that at the end of your wedding day you are married to the love of your life, everything else will fall into place!

Maggie + Devin

On the 5th of August, 2023, Belle Gardens witnessed the heartwarming union of Maggie and Devin. Their wedding day was nothing short of magical, brimming with sentimental memories and the presence of their cherished friends and family. The atmosphere was imbued with love and excitement as Maggie shared a first look with both Devin and her father, creating enduring memories to be cherished forever. Surrounded by the people who mattered most, Maggie and Devin celebrated a day that will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Congratulations Maggie and Devin! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! My (now husband) took me to Manito Park on the pretense of taking a nice photo for his family's Christmas card and brought his best friend (who is a photographer) to get the picture. As we were taking the photo, he stepped behind me, knelt down, and pulled out the ring box. He then told me to turn around and I was so surprised and overjoyed! It was the fastest and easiest yes of my life.

The Dress! When I came into Believe Bride I brought my mom, my sister who was my maid of honor, and both of my grandmas It was such a special time. We were helped by Meagan and she was absolutely amazing! So kind, excited, talented at her job, and such a hype-woman! I tried on several different styles, but knew that I wanted something a little but whimsical/enchanted garden to match my venue. Honestly all the dresses I tried on were stunning, but I fell in love with one in particular and after that it was an easy choice!

The Big Day! Our wedding was everything we wanted and more! Some of the things that stood out however are as follows:
1. We had everyone we wanted in our bridal party, even if that meant our number of bridesmaids and number of groomsmen were unmatched, and that I thought people would think I had "too many bridesmaids." Honestly, though, it didn't matter at all. We had 9 bridesmaids and 6 groomsmen and we are so glad we included everyone we wanted to. 10/10 would do the same way again.
2. As part of our ceremony, our pastor had us each (separately) write down 4 memories that were core to why we fell in love with each other and why we wanted to get married. He then shared these during the ceremony and it was so touching. We had guests say it was the most touching wedding ceremony they had been to, and it was so special for my now-husband and I to hear those things each other had written.
3. We had my aunt and uncle and their band Goodnight Suzie play music at our ceremony and reception. The touch of live music was so special and classy, and they did a wonderful job! It made it even more special that they were family.
4. We went a little "rogue" some might say from the classic food, and we had Mexican food! (my husband's favorite). We also had half cupcakes (because cake is my favorite) and half donuts (because that's my husband's favorite), and we were glad we did all of those things--even though it wasn't necessarily the wedding standard. People really enjoyed it, too!
5. We had a sparkler exit! Honestly so magical and made for some amazing photos! 10/10 recommend if your venue is okay with it.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part was during the ceremony when my now-husband and I got to hear what we'd written about each other for the first time. It was so sweet and really conveyed the depth of our love for each other. Honestly the party was amazing, but that's my favorite part of the whole night.

Special Memories! The first looks we did were really sweet. I did one with my now-husband, one with my dad, and one with my bridesmaids. I also had a special moment with my mom, sister (MOH), and younger cousin (Jr. Bridesmaid) where they were the only two that helped me get dressed. That was we could have a special moment just the four of us--well and the photographers and videographer, too 😂

What advice would you give to future brides? Make sure you fill the space around you with people you love and love you back. Don't be worried that you'll have too many bridesmaids--include all your close friends. They will be the ones that are taking care of you that day and hopefully that are there for you the rest of your life. Two of my bridesmaids kept bringing me and my husband water during the photo sessions, another one would bring us snacks or juice, another one held my dress as I walked around—don’t let the "normal" conventions of a wedding stop you from including the people or things important to you. I took my mom’s advice on this and am so glad I did.

We had some amazing vendors who I would wholeheartedly recommend.
1. Belle Gardens was our venue, and it was absolutely stunning. The owner, Gina, truly goes above and beyond to make your day perfect.
2. Out florist, Evergreen Floral, was wonderful! Song and Jo, a mother/daughter team, were so kind and put together the most beautiful flowers I've ever seen.
3. Our photographer, Tiffany Lauren, was absolutely amazing. She took spectacular photos, was a major hype-woman, and even helped my mom and sister bustle my dress when we needed help 😂
4. Our videographers at Breite Videography did a wonderful job, as well! They were everywhere getting footage, all day long!
5. Our cake and cupcakes were from Sweet Dreams Bakery and they were absolutely delicious and stunning, to boot!
6. My makeup artist, Aly from Beauty Bandit, and my hair stylist, Lucia from Rooted and Rogue Salon, did such incredible jobs making me feel like a princess!
7. Our food was from Nectar Catering and it was delicious!
8. Like I mentioned above, my aunt and uncle's band Goodnight Suzie provided the music and DJing, and they did an incredible job.
9. My dress was altered by Leslie at Lace Envy and she did a fabulous job!
10. Our rings were from Pounders Jewelry which is where my parents' wedding rings were from. They are lifetime customers, and we will be, too!

Heather + Kory

On the 12th of August, at the enchanting Grand Willow Inn, Heather and Kory tied the knot in a wedding that exuded classic elegance with a hint of 1920s glamour. The venue was adorned with stunning florals, filling the air with their sweet fragrance. The ambiance was remarkably peaceful, lending a romantic touch to the celebration. Among the guests was a charming chicken, sporting a haircut that would make Einstein jealous. With every element falling into place, Heather and Kory's special day was nothing short of perfect, leaving everyone with memories that will endure for a lifetime. Congratulations Heather and Kory! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! I knew a proposal was coming - we had looked at rings together, discussed style, size, and stone. I thought for sure that he would propose while we were visiting my family for my niece's birthday, but he apparently had other plans! The day before we left our house in Seattle for the trip across the state, he took me out for a picnic at waterfront park. We brought our camera because it was the most perfect day, with a clear view of the Olympic mountains just across the Puget Sound. We got so lucky and had the entire park to ourselves (unheard of on a sunny summer evening in Seattle). He started looking through some old photos on the camera, taking me on a trip down memory lane. Finally, he handed me the camera and said to look at the last two photos. I didn't suspect a thing, but the last two photos were just plain text - "You're perfect. I love you. I love us." and "Will you marry me?" - by the time I registered what was happening and looked up at him, he was down on one knee! We had the most perfect evening to ourselves, enjoyed the sunset, and the next day he had planned a dinner with all of my family in Leavenworth to celebrate the engagement.

The Dress! Believe Bride was the second dress shop I went to and my experience here was incredible. We loved having the space to ourselves so we could really soak in the moment! I was really having trouble figuring out exactly what I wanted - I knew what I liked and what I didn't, but I was just having trouble finding a dress that was JUST RIGHT. My sister was adamant that I needed to try on the first dress that we pulled for a second time - and there was one other dress I had been thinking about. I tried both of them on again and we dressed them up - one needed a veil, belt, and headpiece to feel complete, but the first dress only needed a veil. As I stood there holding the bouquet, I could feel the emotions suddenly well up. I felt like a bride. I couldn't help the tears - this was my dress!

The Big Day! My wedding day was everything I could've asked for and more. After two years of stressing over every detail, I was so at peace. I didn't have to worry about a thing, it felt like I was just floating through the day. A classic wedding!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My husband and I took about 10-15 minutes after the ceremony and after we signed our marriage certificate, while our guests were off to happy hour. Just the two of us in the bridal suite. We sat there on the edge of the bed and took it all in. The fullness you feel in your heart that spreads throughout your entire body, to your fingers and toes. High on the excitement that we were finally wed. So much love. We shared some Oreos that the bridal party had been snacking on while getting ready. We held hands. Prepared ourselves to go see the crowd of people waiting for us. Reveled in the quiet. It was honestly the best part of the day.

Special Memories! Our wedding was at a beautiful 1920s-era dairy farm house that was converted into an inn with stunning gardens and a Victorian gazebo situated under a massive willow tree. Because the venue is surrounded by farms, the neighbor's chicken decided to make an appearance and hung about our venue all day. We nicknamed him Einstein for his silly hairdo and all of our guests loved seeing him wander around like he owned the place - he really just added that perfect je-ne-sais-quoi.

What advice would you give to future brides? Have one of your bridesmaids near the end of the reception gather all of your gifts and cards together, clean up the getting ready space and load all of your things into your car for you. Make sure they leave out some PJs for you to change into! Once the last guests left our venue, I was completely drained from the day. I grabbed my husband and had him unbutton my dress for me, then took my hair down and changed in the PJs my sister left out for me so that I could get around more easily. Since she had already loaded the car, all we had to grab were a handful of items and it made the end of the night so much easier!

Jaedyn + Blake

We are so happy to share that our very own stylist, Jaedyn married the love of her life, Blake on September 23rd at Trezzi Winery. It was an enchanting affair, brimming with unique and vintage touches. If you’ve had the pleasure of finding your dream dress with Jaedyn, you know that she loves finding unique and antique pieces and their wedding was no different! Jaedyn curated an exquisite collection of antique glasses, suitcases, and one-of-a-kind pieces. From the moment they exchanged their private vows, it was evident that this day was filled with special moments for Jaedyn, Blake, and their families. Truly, it was a wedding that blended timeless elegance with joyful memories that will last a lifetime. We are so excited to celebrate Jaedyn and Blake and welcome them (officially) into the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! Blake did amazing. It was our 2 year anniversary but he asked me to help him with cleaning and then filming a video for his collector's car. We drove out to Higgins Point in Coeur d' Alene, ID (I had no idea he was filming us the whole time). When we reached the spot, he told me he wanted to do a photoshoot of me and the car. While I was posing for pictures, he grabbed the ring out of the car and got down on one knee. It was the most perfect day and we both cried a little 💕

The Dress! I knew I found my dress at Believe because I felt so confident and comfortable in it. My dress fit me perfectly right off the rack and was exactly what I envisioned. I wanted something unique to express my personality and style, so the off the shoulder neckline and 3D lace was absolutely perfect!

The Big Day! We had THE BEST day ever!! My husband and I put together many personalized details throughout the day including antique drinking glasses, dried florals, old suitcases, unique color choices, and of course had to be in the fall. Our venue was perfect because you can see the mountain ranges all around and September has the best weather. We got sunset pictures taken for our private Vows and I even changed into a short dress so I could do a choreographer dance with my dad! You could feel all the emotions on our day, with my dad giving me away and being our officiant, my mom being my matron of honor, and Blake's brother being his best man. So many people traveled from far away and we were able to spend a lot of time talking and dancing with everyone! We are so happy to finally be married ❤️

What was your favorite part of your wedding? Walking down the aisle was the most anxious I've ever felt, I seriously thought I was growing to throw up lol... but once I saw Blake, I locked my eyes on him and everything else faded into the background.

Special Memories! Our wedding day was the first time I had ever seen my dad cry, which of course made everyone there cry too.

My mom is my best friend (hence why she was my matron of honor) and we share a special love of poetry. For her speech, she began with a poem she wrote and it was very special to me. She also was diagnosed with breast cancer this year and was so strong and courageous, and is now cancer free. It meant so much that she was healthy and able to be a part of our wedding.

What advice would you give to future brides? Try your best to enjoy the day and be as present as possible. Make sure to have special time alone with your husband, and make sure you both have time to eat.

Emma + Keneth

Emma and Keneth's wedding on August 12th at the scenic Cider Mountain was an enchanting celebration of love. Nestled in the woods, the rustic setting exuded an air of natural beauty. The venue was adorned with delicate eucalyptus and elegant white florals, that only added to the beautiful setting. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the day overflowed with warm smiles and heartfelt embraces. From the exchange of vows to the sweet moments on the dance floor, everything came together flawlessly. Emma and Keneth's wedding was an impeccable and breathtaking affair, leaving everyone in awe of the perfect union and the cherished memories forged that day. Congratulations Emma and Keneth! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! It was February 2nd,2022. Keneth took me to my favorite restaurant, and we had a nice dinner and he’s a car guy, so he always wants to go on drives, he took me up a mountain in Spokane Valley when it was a light and pretty snow fall and we got out of the car to look at all the lights from the valley and he got down on one knee.

The Dress! When I went to Believe Bride, I wasn’t planning on getting a dress that day, I was just trying to figure out a style that I loved. I ended up trying on 5 dresses and I loved them, but they didn’t seem like “the one”. There was one more in the dressing room and I didn’t like it on the rack, but my best friend picked it out, I tried it on, and I had never felt more beautiful in my life, it fit perfectly right there, and I was in love.

The Big Day! My wedding was a rustic theme with my venue in the woods but at such a beautiful location. We had wooden benches and chairs with eucalyptus and white flowers on the tables. We had a taco bar for dinner because who doesn’t love tacos. The ceremony was perfect, I swear it was only 6 minutes and it was just what we wanted. I’m so happy that I chose the beginning of august, it was right before all the fire started and it was such a perfect day with a tiny bit of wind.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part of the day was getting ready with my girls. There were so many laughs and so many memories made in one day.

Special Memories! My wedding photographer is one of my very close friends, when she got there, she brought me my favorite coffee and said she was so excited for the day. My grandpa passed away in May and it was so hard for me knowing that he couldn’t be there, but when Brooke was driving to the venue she started to pray for us and told me that she felt my grandpa with her and he was saying he’s so happy for us and so proud of us and she had never felt that before and it honestly made the day so much easier knowing he was there in spirit.

What advice would you give to future brides? Find the best coordinator, whether it’s family or friends or a professional, so many little things will go wrong, and you just have to let it slide and not let it ruin your day.
