Your dress and up to three accessories will display through a viewing window so you can admire your gown for years to come. When your gown arrives, it is carefully examined to find any stains or spots. The hem and neckline are hand inspected and special attention is given to removing any stains in these areas. Our exclusive stain removal formulas are used to remove any other spots. The gown is then treated for sugar stains.
Your wedding gown is then completely and thoroughly cleaned. The cleaning process includes a special preservation chemical that keeps the dress from yellowing.
Specially trained wedding dress cleaning experts shape the gown, placing it on a full bust form. It is then layered in acid-free tissue and then it is carefully placed in a preservation chest with an acid-free display window.
The white windowed preservation box is sealed to keep any insects from getting into the box, and also to keep moisture out. Moisture in the box can cause mildew. This display box is then enclosed in a heavy duty shipping carton.
Your bridal gown is shipped directly back to you pre-paid anywhere in the U.S. via UPS. The wedding dress cleaning and preserving process takes approximately 4-6 weeks after it is received.
AFTER YOU RECEIVE YOUR Wedding Dress PRESERVATION KIT
Complete the enclosed order form and shipping label. If you would like the kit shipped to one address and then have the preserved gown shipped to a different address, you can indicate that preference on the paperwork enclosed with the kit.
Seal the box, place the UPS prepaid shipping label on the box and drop it off at any UPS shipping location.
Place gown with up to three accessories such as headpiece, veil, garter, or ring pillow in any sized box that will accommodate your dress. Place the white copy of the invoice in the box with the gown. You keep the pink copy for your records. Place the UPS tracking number on your copy of the invoice.
