The Centennial Trail had already been part of Ellie and Nic’s love story long before their engagement. It was a place they often walked together after Bible studies and coffee dates and where some of their first dates took place. When Nic decided it was time to propose, he brought Ellie back to that special spot one more time. With rose petals laid out along the trail and Ellie’s best friends waiting to surprise her, Nic asked her to marry him, turning one of their favorite places into an even more meaningful part of their story.

When it came time to find her wedding dress, Ellie already had some inspiration in mind and a Pinterest board filled with styles she loved. Then she spotted something familiar at Believe Bride: the exact dress she had saved on Pinterest! Believe Bride was Ellie’s very first bridal shop, and after trying on only a couple of gowns, she fell in love with the dress she had already been dreaming about and said YES!

On July 27, 2025, Ellie and Nic were married at Lavender Manor. Their garden floral theme came to life through soft pastel colors and an abundance of colorful flowers that beautifully complemented the outdoor setting. Their ceremony overlooked Mt. Spokane, while the reception took place beneath a large white tent glowing with bistro lights.

As avid travelers, Ellie and Nic also found ways to incorporate the places they’ve explored together throughout their wedding. Those personal touches made the celebration feel even more like them, bringing pieces of their adventures into a day that marked the beginning of their greatest one yet.

Ellie’s favorite part of the wedding was the first look she shared with Nic beneath a beautiful willow tree. Away from the excitement of the day, they exchanged private vows and made promises to one another that Ellie says she will remember for the rest of her life.

Another special moment came during the reception when Nic’s mom gave a heartfelt speech and surprised the couple with a painting of the two of them. For Ellie, it was one of those moments where their two families truly felt like one, making an already meaningful day even sweeter.

Her advice for future brides? “Remember that the most important thing that happens during your wedding is that you get to marry the love of your life. You won’t remember what goes wrong when you have your eyes set on what’s important.”
