Kathy + Carter

Kathy and Carter’s wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, nature, and thoughtful personal touches. Surrounded by towering trees and warm autumn colors, their rustic celebration at Twin Cedar Farms was filled with unforgettable moments, from their four-legged honorary groomsman to a private last dance beneath the glow of their reception venue. Congratulations Kathy and Carter! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

Carter’s proposal took their love story to new heights! During a hike to the top of Quartz Mountain in Spokane, the couple stopped to take in the breathtaking mountain views. With the beautiful scenery surrounding them, Carter got down on one knee and asked Kathy to spend forever with him. It was a sweet and romantic moment in a setting they’ll always remember.

Kathy’s wedding dress journey almost ended before she ever stepped foot into Believe Bride! After visiting two bridal shops the day before, she had nearly said yes to another gown. But having seen so many dresses she loved at Believe Bride, she knew she wanted to visit before making her final decision. From the moment she arrived, Kathy was touched by the hospitality and thoughtful details that made her appointment feel so special. One moment in particular brought her to tears when her stylist surprised her with a heartfelt letter from Carter, written especially for her dress shopping day.

Then came the dress! The second gown Kathy tried on immediately stole her heart. Although she continued trying on other styles, she couldn't stop thinking about that second dress. Eventually, she asked her stylist if she could put it on one more time. The moment she stepped back into it, everything clicked, and Kathy knew she had found the one!

On September 13, 2025, Kathy and Carter were married at Twin Cedar Farms, a venue that perfectly captured their country rustic vision. With a beautiful forest surrounding the property and an open-sided reception barn, the setting offered the perfect combination of natural beauty and rustic charm. Their fall-inspired color palette featured rich reds, burnt orange, warm browns, and soft tans, complementing the scenery without needing elaborate decorations. Their guests couldn't stop talking about the beautiful venue, and the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream truck they brought in for dessert was an absolute hit!

One of Kathy’s favorite details was including their dog as an honorary groomsman. Dressed for the occasion in his very own vest and bow tie to match the groomsmen, he made his way down the aisle alongside one of Kathy’s bridesmaids. It was such a fun and personal way to include an important member of their little family in the celebration.

While their wedding was filled with wonderful memories, one of the most meaningful moments came at the very end of the evening. Before their send-off, their DJ invited all the guests to gather outside, leaving Kathy and Carter alone in the reception space. With a song they had chosen playing just for them, the newlyweds shared one final dance together. It gave them a quiet moment to reflect on their wedding day, soak in everything they had experienced, and simply enjoy being husband and wife.

Her advice for future brides? “It's your day! Dont let anyone else tell you how it should be, look like, or anything.”
