Bonnie + Titus

Bonnie and Titus’s wedding on June 15, 2024, at Barnyard Bliss in Deer Park, WA, was an intimate celebration of around 100 guests, blending rustic and elegant elements. Bonnie and Titus incorporated personal touches, like Bonnie’s father wearing a traditional Scottish tartan and Bonnie herself handcrafting all the bouquets and centerpieces from Sola wooden flowers. With a mix of catering, potluck dishes, and a mocktail bar, their special day truly reflected their personalities and love. Congratulations Bonnie and Titus! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! Titus proposed to Bonnie when they visited the Japanese Gardens in Manito Park in Spokane with some of his family (thanks to them there's photos and video for memories!) She didn't see it coming but said yes right away! That was July 9, 2023, and the week before Bonnie had traveled to Montana to visit her parents and on the drive home Titus had called her parents to ask for their blessing to marry Bonnie.

The Dress! Bonnie can be quite picky at times and more often than not knows what she does not want but not always what she does want! She watched "Say Yes to the Dress" with her mom for years, and saw many types of wedding dresses. She looked online for places to try on wedding dresses, liked the feeling of Believe Bride so took her mom and future mother-in-law there to hopefully find a dress on the first try. She tried on probably a dozen dresses of different styles, but once she tried on this exact dress she loved it right away! She loved how unique it was with the foliage looking beading, bell sleeves, and vintage style. She knew she'd be marrying the man of her dreams in this wedding dress!

The Big Day! For the wedding Bonnie and Titus kept the guests to around 100 people so it could still be small and intimate while having as many of their most important people there. They chose a venue that featured nature and had an elegant but rustic feeling. Titus chose his brothers as groomsmen and one of his best friends, and all of his brothers are married so the wives were the bridesmaids along with one of his younger sisters. This really made the wedding a family celebration! And Bonnie's dad wore a traditional Scottish tartan for their family last name; he was the best dressed at the wedding aside from the bride! And for the flowers Bonnie had used Sola wooden flowers that she dyed, stemmed, and assembled to create all the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages, and centerpieces. There was probably 500 flowers and now they will never go bad! Apparently everyone loved the flowers and couldn't believe Bonnie created them all! And luckily since the venue had a suite to stay at the night before the wedding they were able to decorate as long as they needed and not feel rush. For the reception they did part catering and part potluck which also added a unique element to the wedding. They even had a mocktail bar so people could craft tasty drinks! And Bonnie always wanted disposable cameras at her wedding so she could see what the wedding was like from a guests perspective (granted, only about half the pictures were even decent, but it was still fun!)
Overall the wedding was perfect and really was a celebration of Bonnie and Titus' love.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? While the wedding party walked down the aisle, Bonnie and her dad waited behind the barn doors for the big reveal. Bonnie loved that even though she had stressed about all the details leading up to that moment, in that instant she had such a calm feeling knowing she was marrying the best person in the world for her and she had nothing to worry about.

Special Memories! It was so great having such a huge range in ages from a few weeks old to grandparents in their late 80's. And we were worried the weather wouldn't hold up since when we were decorating it was hailing so hard, but luckily by the time the ceremony came around the sky parted and the sun was out and the wind stopped, felt quite miraculous!

What advice would you give to future brides? Work together in making decisions, so both people have a say since a day for both of you. And don't let other peoples opinions change what you and your future spouse want for your wedding day.

Maia + Austin

After a 10-mile hike in the mountains for her proposal, Maia’s wedding journey continued with the challenge of choosing her perfect dress. She recalls feeling torn between two beautiful gowns, constantly wondering if she picked the right one. Looking back, though, she knows she would have loved either. Her big day on June 29, 2024, in Elk River, Idaho, perfectly captured the rustic, elegant, and western vibe she envisioned.

Her favorite part of the wedding? The reception, where she got to visit with all of her guests! The cake cutting was another standout moment, filling the day with joy and laughter. Maia’s advice to future brides is to keep dress shopping simple—she wishes she had only taken her mom, as it can be overwhelming when trying to please everyone.

Congratulations Maia and Austin! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

Jessica + Matthew

On July 6, 2024, Jessica and Matthew tied the knot at Mitcham’s Barn in a day filled with love, laughter, and unique touches—like giving each single lady a rose instead of a traditional bouquet toss. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple created countless special memories, from their sons being ring bearers and best men, to Matthew holding back tears as Jessica walked down the aisle. Congratulations Jessica and Matthew! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! It was December 22nd, 2022, I was at work, and he was texting me and was asking me for my dad's phone number because he had found a gas can that would fit to my dad's Jeep. I knew something was up because he normally doesn't talk to my dad on the phone. So, after I gave him my dad's phone number, he had asked me if there was any place that has Christmas lights. The only place that I could think of was Sacred Heart at the children's hospital. He said he wanted to go look at Christmas lights and I definitely knew something was up at that point because it was -6 with the wind chill. So, we go and we get to Sacred Heart and he's back behind me and I'm taking pictures of all the lights, well I stepped back and almost knocked the ring out of his hand and almost knocked him over. He gets back into position; I turned around and he was down on one knee and then he asked me to marry him. My response was "really?!" And then I said "yes" I will always remember it because I love looking at Christmas lights, it was -6 and I'm always cold and I was pregnant at the time, And I got to say yes to my best friend.

The Dress! I worked with Alexa, and she was really helpful. I gave her a picture of an idea of what I thought I'd want, and she delivered. The first dress I tried on was it, I still had second thoughts because I wasn't 100% sure. I didn't know what to actually look for when it came to deciding on a dress. I ended up getting a dress somewhere else and then regretted it. November rolled around and I ended up going back to Believe Bride and getting the dress I originally tried on. I believe that time I worked with a girl named Jayden. It was a very magical experience.

The Big Day! I would say the one thing that made our wedding different was the bouquet toss. I didn't do a normal bouquet toss. I gave each individual single gal a single rose. Our pastor was our officiant, and he did a great job, his wife even helped coordinate it. My two sisters were my maid of honors, and 2 of my nieces were my bridesmaids, and my youngest niece was my flower girl. My son and nephew were the ring bearers, my nephew brought my son up in a wagon. My oldest son was my husband's best man. My husband also had his best friend who was also the best man. He had another friend of his as his groomsmen.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? Seeing my husband trying to hold back his tears when I walked down the aisle.

Special Memories! I was able to marry my best friend. I couldn't have asked for a better day. There was a lot of special memories. We had a photo booth that gave print outs to our guests when they took pictures.

What advice would you give to future brides? Just breathe, have fun, don't stress, and just enjoy the day.

Shalyn + Caleb

Shalyn and Caleb's wedding on June 29, 2024, in Spangle, WA, was a whirlwind of a day that turned into a beautiful boho-western celebration! With colors of burnt orange and burgundy setting the scene, the morning started with a series of mishaps—from a twisted ankle to a hospital visit, and even a curling iron incident. But the moment Shalyn put on her dress, the chaos melted away, and the day transformed into something truly magical. The ceremony was filled with heartfelt tears, especially as Caleb’s personal vows made Shalyn fall even deeper in love. The highlight? Shalyn’s brother surprising everyone with a song from their favorite movie—his first time singing in front of anyone! It was a memory she’ll cherish forever. Congratulations Shalyn and Caleb! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! He proposed to me out on my families property on pend Oreille that I grew up on. It was me, him, our daughter and our new puppy!! And then right after he proposed we surprised our family with another baby announcement because I was pregnant with our son!!!!

The Dress! I knew what dress I wanted the moment I saw it. I was at the bridal expo at the convention center and saw it on a mannequin cloud 9 had out. I went to try it on and they thought I wouldn’t be able to try it on because they only had smaller sizes but when she checked they got my exact size in that morning. I fell in love with it but decided to keep looking. Then when I came to believe bride I tried more dresses and y’all said you had my original favorite in your store! I had done some modeling of a believe bride dress before and loved the store so much. Y’all beat the price that cloud 9 was going to give me and I took home my dress a couple months later!!!

The Big Day! Our wedding was boho-western and my colors were burnt orange and burgundy. I had many complications my wedding day, my mom twisted her ankle, my best friends dad totaled his truck, my sister-in-law got sick and had to go to the hospital, and my son grabbed a curling iron. The whole morning was crazy and nerve wrecking. But as soon as I put my dress on everything seemed to calm down and the nerves melted away. The rest of the day was beautiful, the ceremony was full of tears and you could feel the love. And now I get to call my best friend and the father of my babies my husband. Even with all the complications, it turned out to be the best day in the end!’

What was your favorite part of your wedding? Our ceremony was my favorite. Hearing his personal vows made me fall deeper in love with him.

Special Memories! After all of the speeches (they were all beautiful) my brother gave a surprise speech and then ended up singing our favorite song from our favorite movie! He’s never sang in front of anyone before but it was amazing and something I’ll never forget!

What advice would you give to future brides? Don’t worry about all the little details on your wedding day, it’ll all work out and be beautiful with the help of your loved ones!

Cassandra + Robert

On June 8th, Cassandra and Robert celebrated their wedding at the lovely Ballard Meadows, choosing a relaxed and easygoing location close to Spokane. They aimed for a stress-free day filled with joy, surrounded by friends and family. One of Cassandra's favorite moments was stopping for donuts on their way to the venue—because why not enjoy a sweet treat on such a special day? The highlight of the celebration was Cassandra's 15-year-old daughter, who delivered the most touching speech, adding a playful roast towards her stepdad that had everyone in tears. It was a heartfelt moment that perfectly captured the love and laughter of the day! Congratulations Cassandra and Robert! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Dress! My dress story is one that started with disaster. I had originally purchased a dress back in August of 2023, fast forward to April 2024 I try on said dress and it does not fit. Start the waterworks and devastation, my mom thankful stepped in and called around to every bridal shop we could find on Google. Thankful Believe had an opening that evening so we could go in after she was off work to hopefully find something. After trying on a dress that was similar to my original I knew I needed to change my mindset and go with a completely different look. I found one I really did love however the fabric was just too heavy for a June wedding. We played around with a few different dresses until we found the dress I ended up purchasing. Once we figured out it was missing just a small touch; I loved the look of drop sleeves. We were able to find some to add to the dress and I knew it was the one for the day. While it was not the original dress I thought I would be wearing everyone says that my new dress was the right choice in the end.

What advice would you give to future brides? Relax, breathe, and bring a granola bar

Bri + Josh

On May 26th, Bri and Josh tied the knot at the picturesque Beacon Hill, creating a wedding that truly felt like them. With a palette of their favorite colors, an outdoor venue, and fun games for their guests, the day was filled with joy and celebration—exactly what they had hoped for. Bri especially cherished dancing and celebrating with all her family and friends, making the day even more special. A unique highlight was the "first catch" with her dad, where they donned Cubs jerseys and tossed a baseball back and forth, a playful and heartfelt way to honor their bond without the pressure of a traditional slow dance. Congratulations Bri and Josh! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! My friend took me on a sunrise hike and Josh was at the top of the hill to propose to me as the sun was rising!

The Dress! I loved the buttons on the back of my dress, the square neckline, and the fitted design. It was everything I wanted so when I tried it on I knew it was the one!

The Big Day! We really wanted our wedding to feel like us and we were able to accomplish this with a palette including our favorite colors, an outdoor venue, and games that we knew our guests would enjoy! It was very joyous and a true celebration which is exactly what we hoped for.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? I really enjoyed dancing and celebrating with all of my family and friends. It was so special to have everyone you love in the same space.

Special Memories! I had a “first catch” rather than a first dance with my dad where we put on Cubs jerseys and threw a baseball back and forth a few times. It was a very fun way to acknowledge his role in my life and not feel like we had to force ourselves to slow dance!

What advice would you give to future brides? Don’t feel like you need to do anything a specific way! Make your wedding feel like YOU.

Alexis + Gregory

On the 6th of April, Alexis and Gregory celebrated their love in a beautiful, intimate wedding with their closest friends and family, each moment bringing everyone closer together. The florals provided the perfect backdrop for this stunning occasion, creating an atmosphere that was a perfect blend of love and happiness. Surrounded by those who mattered most, Alexis and Gregory's special day was filled with joy, laughter, and an abundance of sweet memories. Congratulations Alexis and Gregory!

The Proposal! Well. My proposal was perfect, for me. My HUSBAND (weird saying it lol) got my family involved in it. I was totally tricked. He proposed October 28 2022 during our annual family pumpkin carving get together. My family tricked me into thinking it was a contest for best pumpkin, but it wasn’t. My husband got my parents and aunt involved. They got a faux pumpkin and cricket cut the words “Will You Marry Me” on it. Next thing I knew he was on one knee.

The Dress! I chose my dress because I could see it in my
Mom’s face the one was perfect. My dress was something I didn’t think I would want. I wanted something with no straps or off the shoulder and something more boho, but instead I got a spaghetti strapped princess dress that fit my wedding perfectly.

The Big Day! My wedding was very spring garden. I love flowers they’re my favorite thing so the focus on florals was important.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part of my wedding was how it ended up being just family and a few close friends. We had an unexpected event that devastated our family dynamic that in a way brought us close together. It only felt right to have our 250+ wedding cut into 30 important people. (I have a huge family lol)

Special Memories! A special memory would be our best man and maid of honor speeches. We chose people who are typically on the quiet side and theirs speeches both meant the world to us. Especially the speech given by my cousin/MOH she brought up a life time of memories that I will cherish forever.

What advice would you give to future brides? Some advice would be to enjoy it. Even if you feel things aren’t perfect, just enjoy the moment and be excited you’re marrying the person that brings out the best in you.

The Dress! My stylist Alexa was absolutely amazing and I loved her, she made my dress journey so easy! I loved having all my bridesmaids and moms with me and it was so much fun! I wanted a princess style dress and Alexa had me try the perfect one!

The Big Day! Our wedding was amazing! It flew by but we had so much fun! The weather was perfect with little sprinkles before the ceremony and the prettiest sunshine when it was time to walk down the aisle it was a super simple wedding but just enough for us!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part of our wedding was our cake! We had a tiered Nothing Bundt cakes, cake and it was simple but so beautiful and yummy

Special Memories My favorite memory was walking down the aisle and realizing all these people were here because they all love us and support me and my husband tremendously
