Samantha + Bryce

Samantha and Bryce tied the knot on August 7th, 2021! She was a stunning bride and looked gorgeous in her dress. May your marriage be full of happiness and hunting. Congratulations from all of us here at Believe Bride!

The Proposal: On November 11th, 2020, he got down on one knee in a meadow while we were out hunting last season.

The Big Day: It was a simple backyard BBQ with good food, drinks, music, and lots of dancing!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: Um... all of it! Probably the dancing right after we said our I do's!

Special Memories: Too many!

What advice would you give to future brides?: Don't worry too much in the end, it’s about what’s most important to the two of you and no one else. It’s your day. The rest is just a party!

Taylor + Brandon

Welcome to the Believe Bride Tribe! On June 18th, 2021 Taylor and Brandon married. We are so happy for you and wish you luck on your new adventure in Tennessee!

The Proposal:  Brandon proposed while we were visiting family in Knoxville, TN. He wanted to do it while we were in Tennessee as we were soon moving there. We had planned to go tubing down the river that morning, but he had asked that we take a small detour to Cades Cove first. I was annoyed (as I was ready to tube LOL) but agreed. We got out and as I was admiring the mountains and views he was behind me ring in hand. I was shocked (as we had just discussed marriage the night before and he explained he wasn’t ready yet) but it was beautiful! He used my grandmothers wedding ring and it’s absolutely perfect.

The Big Day: Our wedding was at a winery/vineyard and with it being in June everything was filled in, green, and blooming! We only had two bridesmaids and two groomsmen and my father officiated. Another special touch was our memorial table. This was filled with pictures of loved ones who have passed and it was very special to have in our reception area. Our wedding didn’t really have a ‘theme’ but the colors were sage green, creams, white, and navy blue and the decor was very simple, earthy, and natural I would say.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: My favorite part was having my father officiate it! It made it so special.

Special Memories: The first dance with my husband and father were special to me. My first look with each of them individually were also highlights!

What advice would you give to future brides?: Assign someone that isn’t in the family (if you can) to help with things the day of.

On August 14th, 2021 this couple had said their nuptials in their very own backyard. Small and intimate was the goal to share this special moment with their friends and family. Congratulations from your Believe family!

The Proposal:  The proposal was unique because we had spent the day on the lake and it was a bit windy/chilly, but he keep insisting we go for a walk since the lake was down low enough. Of course I'm thinking to myself why is he asking when I'm finally warm, so he finally got me to walk with him back in a cove area. Then before I knew he's asking me to marry him which without hesitation I said yes!!!

The Big Day: Our wedding was exactly everything we could have asked for, but better in the sense that we kept it very small and intimate. One special touch I did was writing a hand written note to both my mom and dad just saying thank you, as well as how much I've appreciated them being the kind of parents who are always there for me.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: My favorite part of our wedding was finally being able to reveal my dress to my now hubby, as well as to my dad. Both of there reactions were priceless and so my sister made sure we captured those. His favorite part of our wedding was everything because of finally being able to tie the knot.

Special Memories: Everything on that day was a special memory especially because I'm now married to my best friend.

What advice would you give to future brides?: Just to breath and have fun on your big day!!!

July 24th is when this couple said their vows. Simplicity was the theme and love was the focus! Welcome to the Believe Bride Tribe! We wish you all the best in this new adventure.

The Big Day: Our wedding was everything we hoped and more! It was the most simple, easy going wedding because all we cared about was getting married in front of our friends and family. Nothing else mattered!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?:  I had my best friend/bridesmaid be my videographer. She had an amateur video camera and minimal skills, but made the best video ever because she was so involved in the day and wasn't afraid to get in the action of it all!

Special Memories: One of my favorite moments was doing a first look with my dad. I highly recommend to all brides as it was the most the special moment!

What advice would you give to future brides?: Don't worry/stress over details and planning. The day of, absolutely nothing will matter once you see your fiancé at the other end of that aisle!

Friday the 13th was these horror fans day of choice to tie the knot! On September 13th, 2019 this couple brought love and happiness to a day typically associated with bad luck and scares. May your marriage be filled with lots of love and horror (but only in the movies).

The Proposal: We were on our annual anniversary trip to Seaside, OR for our 4th anniversary. We always go crabbing when we are there since it’s my husband’s favorite thing! While crabbing he was saving back some crabs and I was taking photos on the opposite side of him. I turned around to him holding out a little crab holding onto my ring. He proposed and was mortified to hand me the crab thinking I’d toss it overboard!

The Big Day: We are huge horror fans. So what better day to get married on than Friday the 13th under a full harvest moon! I can honestly say I have never met another person who has had a horror wedding. We had a horror photo booth that had a mannequin dressed up as Jason Vorhees, spooky center pieces, our whole bridal party drank from skull glasses and our cake was a creepy beautiful masterpiece!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: My favorite memory has to be my officiant asking me if it would be okay for us to surprise my husband with me walking down the aisle with a huge red balloon (he is obsessed with IT). My husband had NO IDEA and the balloon was hidden for me to grab as I walked down the isle. His reaction was priceless. We tied it to our alter so it was right between us while we got married.

Special Memories: The whole day was incredibly special, I cannot pick just one moment!

What advice would you give to future brides?: My biggest advice is to soak up every minute. Don’t worry about everybody else’s options and wants. Do what is best for you and your soon-to-be spouse! The day is meant to be about you, so do what makes you happy!

The Proposal: He proposed while fishing on our dock taking family pictures at our cabin up at priest lake with his family and my family all there.

The Big Day: We had a beautiful outdoor wedding with perfect 70 degree weather, followed by a dance party in the rain up at the barn with double rainbows as a backdrop! We had a country boho style wedding! Our wedding was specifically planned to be a fun and laid back event where no-one would feel pressure to have to follow any kind of schedule! Our DJ Kevin killed it on creating a fun environment! Our officiant was amazing and created a beautiful yet very personal ceremony for us while keeping it short and sweet like we wanted!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: Getting to dance in the rain with friends and family and watching all of the kiddos have so much fun dancing along!

Special Memories: The entire day was a dream and I wouldn't change anything about it!

What advice would you give to future brides?: Don’t sweat the small stuff! Something WILL go wrong and that’s ok! I forgot my bouquet in the barn to walk down the aisle and didn't remember until I got up there and had nothing to hand to my maid of honor!

Your Love is Sweet!

There’s a special place in our hearts for dessert. Cake, cupcakes, signature treats, custom cookies, pies, the possibilities are endless, and we are absolutely here for it!

Take our amazing couple Catherine and Mitchell, for example. These two love birds had a beautiful spread of treats for their guests, and even added in a snack bar with some savory snacks! We love the options.

When it’s all said and done, we hope your love is just as sweet as these beautiful wedding desserts.

Lindsay + Tucker

On August 21, Lindsay and Tucker had their rustic wedding to seal their happily ever after. They say rain on your wedding day is a sign of good luck! So let us join the weather in wishing you the best of luck in your lives together.

Cheer to saying “I Do”!

unnamed (2).jpg

The Proposal: He proposed by hiding an antler with a note on it. Then we went hunting and I found it! (How cute is that!)

The Big Day: Our theme was very rustic. It poured rain the entire day, stopped for our ceremony, and rained the rest of the night.

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: All the special people around us. (We LOVE a wedding surrounded by love!)

Special Memories: It rained all day, but we had no option to go inside! Luckily 2 days before we found a giant tent. It was the perfect way to shield us from the weather and still use the stunning scenery.

What advice would you give to future brides?: It’ll be perfect no matter what!

Kimberly + Brock

On July 17, 2021, Kimberly and Brock tied the knot at her parent’s ranch. In a ceremony that was absolutely picture perfect. Here’s to wishing you both a lifetime of happiness! Welcome to the Believe Bride Tribe!

The Proposal. On February 20th, Brock had suggested we get out of the house and go walk down at Higgins Point. It was cold, windy, and rainy, but honestly I didn't think it was anything out of the norm. Brock isn't the type to just sit around and he wouldn't let weather get in the way of enjoying the outdoors. So I bundled up and pretending like this was EXACTLY what I wanted to be doing too. After walking on the snow covered beach for a while, it was clear that I was freezing and I'm fairly certain my little toe was in the beginning stages of frostbite. So Brock decided this was the moment. He looked me in the eyes and asked me if I knew what day it was. "Its Saturday" I said. "Yea, you're right, but do you know what today actually is?" His eyes looked like they were watering but he claims it was because of the cold wind. "Its February 20th, the day before my moms birthday?" He laughed and said "I can't believe you don't know what day it is!" I reached for my phone to check our calendar, thinking I had missed a special anniversary, but he said I wasn't allowed to check it. "Here, I'll give you three hints." At this point his GoPro, that he very cleverly positioned to catch the moment, died. He grabbed it and started walking towards another area on the beach. I asked him what my hints were and all he kept saying was "you'll see." So we got to another area and he turned to face me. "Okay, I'll give you your hints now. Here's your first hint" He pulled a mini bottle of champagne out of his backpack and handed it me. "Now do you know what today is?" I looked at the champagne bottle and wondered what the heck he was up to because he's not really a drinker, especially champagne. "I can't believe you haven't figured out what today is yet. Here, maybe hint #2 will help." He pulled a single rose out from his backpack. Then I knew. This amazing man was about to ask me to spend the rest of my life with him. I was speechless, which is practically impossible for me. "NOW have you figured it out? If not, I think the last hint will give it away," and he pulled a ring box out, got down on one knee, and he asked me to marry him right there next to the water, in the snow. I bent down, hugged him, and cried. I had dreamt about this moment since I was little. I had always heard other sweet proposal stories, and wished I knew what it felt like. In my previous life, this moment never happened and it was more like casual, mutual agreement between two people. I felt jipped. But now God had brought the most amazing man into my life, and he was down on one knee, right in front of me, asking me to marry him. The moment was perfect, and its a moment I will re-live in my head every single day for years to come. On the way back to the car I asked him "So, what is today?" He looked at me and smiled and said "it's the day we got engaged, duh."

wedding 6.jpg

The Big Day: I tried to stay very simple. My colors were more earthy natural colors. Creams, dark greens, tans, but I did add just a tiny hint of blush pink :) We had it at my parents ranch on a cliffside, and every detail was created by me :) I had been married before in 2006 (before pinterest) and it wasn't at all what I had in mind. So I had my hand on every detail this time around! I tried to keep it very local to PNW- our cake was white cake with huckleberry filling, the wine was from Maryhill and Latah Creek, and our center pieces were wood cuts with white roses and hydrangeas.
We had about 100 guests and enjoyed dancing and food until almost midnight!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?: My favorite details was I hired a local country music musician (Joey Anderson) to sing "This is It" while I walked down the aisle.

Special Memories: My movie has always been Hope Floats because my life was exactly like Birdie. So our song was Garth Brooks To Make you Feel my Love, and it was the perfect song to represent our relationship.

What advice would you give to future brides?: Just stay calm!
