Kaitlyn + Spencer

On the 31st of December, Kaitlyn and Spencer celebrated their love in a beautiful elopement at Honeysuckle Beach on Hayden Lake. The serene lake provided a stunning backdrop for their intimate ceremony, surrounded by their nearest and dearest. The love and joy shared on that special day created memories that would last a lifetime, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. Congratulations Kaitlyn and Spencer! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

What advice would you give to future brides? Big wedding, small wedding, eloping, it will feel stressful. Surround yourself with easy going family and friends to make your special day smoother. Enjoy every single piece and characterize it. Make it special to you and your relationship. Add some fun personalization about you + your spouse. That’s what the day is about

DANI WALKER PHOTOGRAPHY!!!!! She’s amazing. Seriously.

Angelena + Ivan

Angelena and Ivan's wedding on the 7th of October was a beautiful blend of tradition and personal touches. The vibrant colorful florals added a touch of whimsy, while including their dog as the wedding party brought a heartfelt charm. Opting for a pizza cutting instead of the usual cake cutting added a fun and unexpected twist to the celebration. The couple's special day was filled with moments that reflected their personalities, making it a memorable and joyous occasion for all who attended. Congratulations Angelena and Ivan! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! The original plan was to propose at Disney in 2020! Instead, he brought Disney to me at a family cabin and asked me in front of all our friends and family :)

The Dress! My dress made me feel the best I’ve ever felt! I knew I wanted something to support the girls but flowy on the bottom so I can get my boogie on and not worry about comfort! (I seriously didn’t want to take my dress off when it was time to leave, that’s how comfortable it was!!) Alexa made me feel so welcomed and even though we showed up an hour early, my mom and I were taken right away! She was so helpful and picked some great options! I had a top two and looking back in the photos, I made a face on the one and only dress, so it was meant to be :)

The Big Day! We had an amazing wedding!! The best one I’ve been to, and we are the last of both our friends to get married, so we knew what was important and what wasn’t something to get hung up on! I’m very lucky to have a partner who cared equally on what was happening and having an opinion! No matter how many arguments :) we had ZERO wedding parties. Our dog was our “wedding party” and it was the best decision ever! We went bold in our color choices and asked everyone to wear black to contrast the brightness. We also took a unity shot of tequila during our ceremony and it helped calmed the nerves! We talk about it at least once a month that we wish we could relive that day because it was the smoothest loveliest day ever <3

What was your favorite part of your wedding? Instead of a cake cutting scenario, we did a pizza cutting moment! It’s so fun to look back at and see the love we have for each other and pizza!

Special Memories! We took dance lessons for our first dance! We practiced so much and would get close but not all the way nail it. Well, we did one last rehearsal and we killed it! And then continued to kill it during the big moment! It was so cool to bond over dance lessons and how comforting it is to be on their arms :)

What advice would you give to future brides? DO WHAT YOU WANT!!!! Don’t let anyone tell you how you wedding should be if it’s not what you want. You won’t make everyone happy but for the ones who matter most, they will support you the most! You hope to only have to plan one wedding, so why not make it exactly HOW YOU WANT IT <3

Ava + Coleman

Ava and Coleman exchanged heartfelt vows on November 11th, 2022, during a private and intimate ceremony, surrounded by their closest family members. This special day was even more meaningful as Ava's father, who was battling cancer, was able to witness their union. As they celebrated their first anniversary the following year, their joy was shared with friends and family, creating an atmosphere of love and togetherness. The anniversary celebration was filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and memorable moments, including a special dance between Ava and her mom. Despite the challenges they faced, Ava and Coleman's love and connection shone brightly on this joyous occasion. Their best advice for any couple getting married is to not stress over the little things. It will all come together and you won’t even remember it afterwards!! Congratulations Ava and Coleman! Emily + Robbie

On the 8th of October, Emily and Robbie celebrated their special day in the serene setting of the Japanese Gardens at Manito Park. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, the intimate ceremony was filled with touching moments that will be cherished forever. Following the heartfelt vows, the festivities continued at the vibrant reception held at the Hampton Inn. The atmosphere transformed into a lively celebration with games, dancing, and laughter filling the air. Guests enjoyed delicious food and created many joyous and unforgettable moments that truly captured the couples spirits! Congratulations Emily and Robbie! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Proposal! We recreated our first date :) Lunch at Neato Burrito, walking around downtown and going to Indaba and Boo Radley's. Then we went up to the Japanese gardens and Manito and Robbie proposed on the bridge. This ended up being the spot where we would get married!

The Dress! I didn't really know what I wanted, just that I wanted it to be comfortable and fun! I wanted our wedding to be whimsical and a little unique, just like us. I tried on several dresses and fell in love with two. My bridal party was there, and they were taking pictures, they showed me a picture of how my face lit up when I had first tried on one of the dresses, so that showed me that was the one. It was such a wonderful day with my girlfriends, and I am so happy I went to Believe Bride!

The Big Day! We had a small private ceremony with just our closest family and friends at the Japanese Gardens at Manito. It was early October, so the colors were absolutely gorgeous, and the weather was perfect! I did have to be careful not to get mud on my dress and shoes, but it was worth it for how beautiful it was! The aisle was basically walking over the bridge, and then we got married on the rocks right next to the water. For the reception, we just wanted to have fun! We ordered olive garden catering for dinner, and it was delicious, and then had a cake and cupcakes made by Botanical Bites, a vegan bakery out in the valley. Our DJ's name was Rick from New Beginnings and he was so much fun. We had games during dinner, including a dance off and newlywed game. After dinner we had our first dance and just enjoyed partying with friends and family! Our colors were purple and silver but most importantly, we tried to keep everything as simple as possible so we could just enjoy the day. It was absolutely perfect and exactly what we wanted!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part of the wedding was our private last dance. Our DJ had everyone leave to line up in the hallway for our grand exit and we were able to dance alone to one of our favorite songs. It was very romantic and just wonderful to get to spend that time with just the two of us to end the day.

Special Memories! We did this hilarious dance off during dinner where our DJ pretended that the bridesmaids and groomsmen were doing to be blindfolded and have a dance off to determine whether guys or girls got to get dinner first. It was actually a plan to prank the best man! So, they all got up and put on the blindfolds, but then when the music started everyone quietly took off their blindfolds and sat down, except the best man who was dancing his heart out while everyone cheered him on! It was hilarious and really fun.

What advice would you give to future brides? To just enjoy it. And to not overwhelm yourself with so many plans that it takes away from being able to enjoy the day.

Haylie + Jordan

Haylie and Jordan's wedding on the 14th of October was a beautiful blend of country chic and modern style. The rustic details harmonized perfectly with contemporary touches, creating an enchanting ambiance for their special day. Surrounded by loved ones, the couple cherished heartfelt moments that will be remembered for a lifetime. Haylie's choice of doing first looks with her family added a sentimental touch to the day, culminating in a touching first touch and personal vow reading with Jordan that encapsulated the deep love they share. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Congratulations Haylie and Jordan! Welcome to the Believe Bride Family!

The Prospal! Asked me to go golfing (something I love, he is learning to love) on my day off. My husband is more of the spontaneous type, I am the planner. The day we were going golfing, he asked if I wanted to go on a small hike down to a waterfall before we golfed, I said sure. We went down this small trail close to the Indian Trail Golf Course and once we got down there (not much of a waterfall because it was the end of summer), I walked closer to the waterfall and when I turned around, he was on one knee and asked me to marry him!

The Dress! Believe Bride was my first wedding dress shop! The journey actually starts with my friend getting engaged and asking me to go to the Spokane Bridal Convention with her. We were walking through the convention and looking at wedding dresses, I saw this one dress and said "I am gonna need to try that on if I ever get married.". Fast forward to 2-3 months later, I scheduled a few appointments at a couple different shops, but Believe was my first. Was helped out by Alexa who really wanted to know what I wanted. I was personally open to any style and just wanted to know what would look best on my body type, but gave her the description of boho, country. I had tried on about 6-8 dresses and then she was carrying the one I had seen at the convention and I yelled "I want to try that one on!! It's the one I saw at the convention." She explained that it was a couple sizes too small but she would see if they had my size in the store. Unfortunately, they didn't have my size, but I was DETERMINED. She helped me out, and by GOD I got that sucker on and I knew it was my dress. Got it ordered and it was perfect!!!

The Big Day! I am country, my husband is more modern. I would describe our wedding as boho, modern, country chic; hints of country, and hints of the more modern details. Trezzi Farm and Winery was the perfect place for our wedding, had the industrial barn that was the perfect mix of country and modern design, not to mention the beautiful view and little touches to make it amazing. It was everything we had hoped and more.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? That is a difficult one... My favorite moment was probably our first touch/personal vows. It was our first moment all dressed up and alone together and it truly calmed both of us down.

Special Memories! First looks were probably my favorite. I did one with everyone except for my husband.

What advice would you give to future brides? Do what you want to do. Specific to wedding dress shopping, do not try and lose an unrealistic amount of weight to fit the picture you had in your mind on how you would look on your wedding day. Be happy. Wedding planning is stress enough. Be happy with who your husband asked to marry, he/she will love you no matter what! Don't let anyone influence you out of what you want! Better yet, if you have people that are super opinionated around you, don't share what you're gonna do! Trust me haha.

Lily + Jordan

Lily and Jordan's wedding on the 2nd of December 2023 exuded an intimate and heartfelt ambiance, creating a truly special experience. The cozy atmosphere was enhanced by the inclusion of fur shawls, adding a touch of warmth and elegance to the occasion. The thoughtful inclusion of a mug wall for favors added a personal and memorable element to the celebration. The open mic for speeches provided a platform for cherished moments as friends and family shared sweet and touching words, leaving a lasting impression on the newlyweds and guests alike. Overall, the evening was a perfect blend of warmth, sentiment, and joy, making it a cherished memory for all who attended. Congratulations Lily and Jordan! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! Our proposal was during a ATV ride up to the falls in Clark Fork, Idaho. My ATV had broken down halfway through the ride up there, but my fiancé was determined to get me up to the peak despite my efforts to return back to the house. On our ride there, our whole family was awaiting us and even the kids picked flowers to give to me. He got down on one knee and said, "I promised you I would propose where the huckleberry grow for years"!

The Dress! I had Joanna, my dear friend and stylist, help me pick out my dress. I came in wanting a ballgown but left with the wild card pull that my sister encouraged me to try on! I would've never thought I would look so beautiful in something of that silhouette and it truly made me feel beautiful. I cried and then I knew it was the one!

The Big Day! We tried to make the vibe as cozy and warm as possible for Christmas. We had a mug wall for our guests to take as favors and our neon photo wall guest book was a hit! We also did not see each other until I walked down the aisle the whole day so his reaction was so special.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part was doing open mic for speeches! Everyone was so touching and those who wanted to share kind words and thoughts had the chance to.

Special Memories! I had a first look with my dad and his reaction definitely made me cry! During our father-daughter dance we also had a moment where we got to dance to my song with him.
A funny moment - when my husband blew the champagne up and made a huge mess on the dance floor before Toasts!

What advice would you give to future brides? Do not worry about anyone else but you and your person. This is your day and enjoy every moment as it goes by in a blink of an eye!

Elizabeth + Tristan

Elizabeth and Tristan's wedding on the 6th of October at the Mountain View Congregational Church was a breathtaking celebration of love and unity. Surrounded by the stunning landscape, their special day overflowed with moments of pure joy, heartfelt speeches, and the embrace of loved ones. The air was filled with love and laughter. It was a day that will forever hold treasured memories and endless love, marking the beginning of a beautiful journey together. Congratulations Elizabeth and Tristan! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! Our proposal was definitely unexpected! My husband had this whole plan for Christmas to propose at the location of our first date. I threw a wrench in that plan as I had noticed a receipt to a jewelry store and realized I hadn’t received any jewelry as a gift (we exchange our personal gifts early so we can be with family on Christmas) I was sobbing and came to him about it and he tried to assure me that he did have a surprise, but it was at my moms and just a necklace. The next day was Christmas Eve, and a blizzard was supposed to come in that weekend, so he had decided to propose to me using our cat instead. It was super sweet and intimate. And of course, I felt so bad for ruining his plan, but it worked out in the end!

The Dress! I am someone who has such a mix of tastes, I truly believe almost anything and everything can be beautiful so coming in I had an idea but not a clear version. My stylist was Meagan and she looked at my ideas and put me in so many different styles it was SO fun. I ended up choosing my dress because it was truly the perfect mix of everything, I loved about all the different styles I tried on. Plus, it had some unique details that I loved!

The Big Day! Our wedding was on a crazy strict budget, so we were worried about having it truly turn out to be our dream day. We had an amazing group of vendors, bridal party and family that worked with us to make it our dream! I truly cannot say enough how much we love how our wedding went.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? I think my favorite part of our day was seeing all of our people from different aspects and times in our lives come together to celebrate with us, it was so fun to see them all and watch them become friends with each other!

Special Memories! Oh man one of the most special moments was when my husband’s little sister (practically one of my best friends) read her speech to us. She was sobbing, we were sobbing, there wasn’t a dry tear in the crowd.

What advice would you give to future brides? I would say to future brides if you can find one a coordinator/planner is SO NICE. I know my friends and family started to go a little crazy when all I could think or talk about was the wedding and the different aspects of it that needed to be planned. Having her was magical, we would bounce ideas back and forth and I had someone to talk it all out with who wouldn’t get tired of it! She also completely understood every feeling I had or would have. Definitely suggest finding one if you can!

Marisa + Luke

Marisa and Luke's wedding on the 23rd of September at the Montvale Event Center was a breathtaking fusion of history and modernity. The venue's historical beauty and contemporary charm provided the ideal backdrop for their special day. Elegance and timelessness radiated through every detail, from the stunning florals that adorned the grand hall to the bubbling champagne that welcomed each guest. The air was filled with love and joy, making it a truly perfect day for the beautiful couple to begin their new chapter together.

The Proposal! Surprise proposal on the old Chronical building downtown Spokane 2 days before Christmas, the rooftop was overlooking the city, with lights and candles and music and our best photographer. It had started showing and was just magical

The Dress! I tried on probably close to 20 dresses and there were always things I didn’t love or wanted to change. I was one in the display and didn’t give it a second thought because I assumed it would be way over my budget. My bridal party convinced me to just try it on and I instantly fell in love. It was the most beautiful dress and I knew when I loved every single detail without wanting anything to be changed.

The Big Day! Our wedding was our dream. We found the perfect location for our cityscape, historical yet somewhat modern wedding. We wanted an old building with a ton of beautiful features and the Montvale had just that. We wanted to be in the heart of the city and have an indoor wedding. We had people arrive to glasses of champagne because we wanted them to have an experience. Walking into the grand entrance was just unreal. Between my coordinator, florist and the team at the Montvale, no detail was overlooked. We had a formal downtown wedding with an artesian pizza buffet, Hello Sugar donuts, a formal dress code and some not so formal dance moves. It was totally bits of us all bundled together.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? I can’t really choose but I one of my favorites was having our closest friends there by our sides. We also got to go to the rooftop of our venue to take photos with the same rooftop where we got engaged in the background of our photos.

Special Memories! We were gifted the most thoughtful gift for my now-husband’s late father. We lost him to his battle with cancer this summer and we wanted a nice way to honor him at our wedding. We had his photo on our entryway credenza with the boutonnière that was made just for him. Our best friends(maid of honor/best man) also displayed a sign at the bar for him that people could admire and pay their respect to.

What advice would you give to future brides? Wedding planning is a lot. I did a lot of it myself and I created a lot to make my vision come true. It’s okay to ask for help and to have a realistic mindset because weddings are expensive but I can’t attest you can still have your perfect dream wedding without blowing your entire life savings on it.

Jolie + Aaron

Jolie and Aaron tied the knot on October 13th, a date known for its spooky reputation. The couple fully embraced the mysterious charm of Friday the 13th, which gave their venue a captivating atmosphere. Every corner was decorated in black and red, creating an enchanting spell that fascinated everyone present. The couple even had a coffin-shaped ring holder, that added to the spooky feel. Jolie and Aaron's wedding beautifully merged darkness and elegance, resulting in a spellbinding celebration. Congratulations Jolie and Aaron! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! Aaron proposed to me on a trip to Las Vegas for his 21st birthday. We were at the Bellagio, where the building is filled with gorgeous floral arrangements. We were getting a picture taken under these huge hearts made of live flowers, and he got down on one knee! Everyone was clapping for us, and it was very sweet and memorable.

The Dress! Before coming to Believe, I had purchased two wedding dresses that were not the ones. I came here not expecting to leave with the dress of my dreams the same day. Alexa was able to take my inspiration photos and found a dress that perfectly matched my vision!

The Big Day! Aaron and I wanted to have a dark, moody, and slightly spooky wedding. I DIY’d many of the decor pieces used in our wedding, such as all of the bouquets, a coffin ring holder, all of the centerpieces, signage, and more. We did not have a dance floor at our wedding because that’s not our thing, but we did have rap music and alcohol available. The color scheme was black, shades of red, and shades of pink.

What was your favorite part of your wedding? My favorite part of my wedding was getting ready with my bridesmaids. It was very emotional and sweet getting to share that day with them. We all shared beauty products and helped each other get ready.

Special Memories! My great aunt who is wheelchair bound was able to make it to my wedding and that made me cry. We got special photos taken with her. Also, my cousin Bethany who came to our wedding from Seattle put my veil on for me, helped to bustle my dress, and captured special photos with her photography skills.

What advice would you give to future brides? Do not stress over the small things! I was over stressing myself, and it all went smoothly in the end. Your wedding is supposed to be the best day ever, even if a couple of things don’t go as planned. Enjoy your day with your partner!

Lea + Luke

On the 16th of September, Lea and Luke celebrated their love at the enchanting Castle Rock Ranch. Their wedding was a true display of rustic romance, with breathtaking florals lovingly arranged by their friends and family. Amidst the heartfelt ceremony, the couple shared a beautiful first communion, symbolizing their devotion to each other and their faith. And in a heartwarming moment, Lea and her mother shared a tender dance together, with Lea dressed in her mother’s wedding gown. This beautiful affair was a celebration filled with cherished memories and an abundance of love. Congratulations Lea and Luke! Welcome to the Believe Bride family!

The Proposal! The proposal was so special! We went on an evening hike together with our 2-month-old baby boy. We drove out to the property we recently purchased (in SE Montana) and plan to have in our family for generations to come. It was my first-time hiking to the top of the butte, and I knew he had desperately wanted me to see our property and future from the highest point. Once we got to the top the sun was setting with gorgeous pinks, oranges, and yellows filling the blue sky, the view was gorgeous. I turned around to see him on one knee asking me to be his wife! It is a moment we will cherish forever, and we will be able to take our son, future children and grandchildren to that spot where we became engaged.

The Dress! I came in feeling sure that I wanted an off the shoulder a-line dress. Alexa was brilliant in helping me find the perfect dress! So brilliant that I ended up having two I loved so much I genuinely considered tripling my budget to get both dresses and the veils I wanted. Ultimately though it didnt make sense for me to have two dresses and I had no idea how to decide as these dresses were polar opposites. I fell in love with a perfectly fitting strapless clean ballgown dress to which we could add beautiful off the shoulder tulle sleeves. But I was also in love with the dress I ultimately chose which was a lace v neck fit-n-flare dress. I had an extremely hard time narrowing dresses down to these two choices as I was experiencing a lot of emotional stress with my dad being in the ICU while I was at my appointment along with typical wedding planning stress, I was not sure how I'd make a choice I loved. I am so thankful that Alexa was able to give me tools to use and the questions to ask myself about the features of the dress and how I felt in it, and ultimately how do I want to look on my wedding day. It was a 3-hour one time appointment and I left so very happy and am still so happy with my dress choice. She provided me with multiple options without overwhelming me and the deciding factor she brought up was that my dress felt more like me, and I mentioned that the lace reminded me of honeycomb, which in turn reminded me of my fiancé since he has always loved bees and wants to have our own hive. She pointed out how special that was and that I could just be shocked that i liked the other dress simply because it was so different than what I wanted, and I didn't realize I would like that style. Additionally, I brought my breastfed infant and we had to break for feedings and take breaks because he was upset and needing me to hold him, and she was more than understanding through it all. Anyways to sum it up it was a great experience, and I am forever grateful for Alexa and Believe Bride!

The Big Day! Our wedding theme was country as it was held at a small Ranch in Kingston, ID 'Castle Rock Ranch'. We had known we wanted to get married there for years as we would spend summers there fishing, camping, and exploring so when we came acrost its years ago we thought it would make a great venue and have meaning to us! In my teens I was a barista and have always had a deep love for coffee, so we were very happy to find Scrummy Coffee from CDA, ID who is a portable coffee cart and let us customize out own drink menu which was very special to me! We tried to make our wedding day as meaningful and memorable as possible, and I really feel like we achieved that! To elaborate on our wedding theme, I wanted this to be a romantic country wedding and have a very loose/flowy feel. I didn't want the tight ribbon and rhinestone type of wedding personally. This was very much a DIY wedding with family pitching in and making decor for what we needed. We also ordered a large number of flowers from an amazing local flower farm 'Pollen Basket Farms' in Post Falls, ID. We arranged our own bouquets, boutonnieres, and arbor flowers, with a large amount of inspiration from Pinterest. Our wedding would not have come together without the incredible help from our family and close family friends. It was a team effort, and we are so very grateful for the beautiful day it was. A piece of advice that my stellar sister-in-law Emily Knight shared with me that was KEY for the day of is this, "On your wedding day try not to let the upsets and snags upset you. Once you get to the day of, there is not much that can be changed or fixed, so try to not focus on them and enjoy every moment because it will go by so fast." This is exactly what I did, and I am so thankful to have had that mindset. It made the day feel so smooth and enjoyable even when my black eyelash glue was getting all over my face when I was already supposed to be walking down the aisle! She also pointed out that the most importantly thing is that by the end of the day, you and your partner will be married and get to start the rest of your lives together. Our wedding was so special, and I would not change anything about it!

What was your favorite part of your wedding? It was very important to us to make our wedding as personal and significant to us as possible. As a couple, we believe in Jesus and decided to take communion and worship together firstly as a couple to signify our foundation on the Lord and our commitment to putting Him first in our marriage. A beautiful thing we will cherish about our day us that our son was my Husband's best man and matched him almost exactly! Largely because my mother-in-law offered to make a custom vest for our 1-year-old since we could not find one anywhere, which only came up 3 days before the wedding and she finished it the day before! I also asked my sisters, Trinity and Katrina, to be my bridesmaids and they were so helpful! Additionally, we were absolutely honored by my two older brothers as they played key roles in our wedding. My brother, Luke Knight, was our wedding officiant, and my oldest brother, Kirk Knight, walked me down the aisle. They did amazing and were huge support systems for our day. Unfortunately, my father passed away three and a half months before our wedding, but both of my brothers stepped up and made our day so special by being so involved and taking up the responsibility my dad left behind. Another thing I loved and would recommend to all Brides who do not have a father in their life would be to have a mother daughter dance! I surprised my mom at our reception by changing into her wedding dress and doing a mother daughter dance to "Mamas" by Hilliary Scott. My brother and sister in-laws also helped us so much with all of the set up and tear down along with some amazing family friends. All of these moments made our day so incredibly special despite the hard year we have had. All I can say is it takes a village and having a good support system that has your best interest at heart is immensely helpful.

Special Memories! Another special memory I have is that while getting ready my mom had us all stop and had my mother-in-law, sisters, sisters-in-law, and friend all surround me and pray over the day and our marriage. It was a beautiful time experiencing lots of support, calming the stress and giving the day up to Jesus before it even began.

What advice would you give to future brides? Just remember that all that truly matters is you and your partner getting married and spending your lives together! Love each other and give grace abundantly. It is needed during the stress of planning! And truthfully no one will remember what plates you had or the food you served or whether or not you had a champagne tower! Do what is best for you as a couple emotionally, financially, etc. This is a celebration of your unity and the dinner wear you can't afford or agree on is not worth more stress or strain. It's about you as a couple.
