As your wedding day gets closer, there are a few things we want to make sure you have on the to-do list. Our goal is to help make your planning a little easier, a little more excited and a lot less overwhelming!
1. alterations: for just the right fit🧵✂
Your dress is already stunning, but alterations are what truly make it feel like it was made for you. While alterations aren’t offered in-house at Believe Bride, you can find a curated list of local, highly respected seamstresses so you can choose the one that best matches your wedding vision.
You chose Believe Bride for a reason, and we want you to have the same confidence when choosing your seamstress.
SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
Start reaching out to seamstresses early, especially if your wedding falls during a busy season.
Once your gown is in your hands, or you know when it will arrive, get your fittings on the calendar.
Most brides begin alterations around 3 to 4 months before the wedding, but always follow the timeline your seamstress recommends.
Bring your wedding shoes and any shapewear or undergarments you plan to wear when requested.
Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Every dress and every alterations process is a little different.

Your bridal appointment may be over, but your Believe Bride experience doesn’t have to end there.

3. COME BACK FOR THE FINISHING TOUCHES✨
Once you’ve had a little time to soak in the excitement of saying yes, come back to Believe Bride and try on accessories with your gown. Seeing everything together can make such a difference when choosing the pieces that feel most like you.
Veils, hairpieces, and bridal accessories are one of the most fun ways to make your look feel completely your own. You’ll be able to see how each piece works with your dress before making a decision.
And yes, you absolutely get to have another bridal moment!
4. KEEP US IN THE LOOP💍
You might leave the boutique with your dress checked off the list, but we still want to hear about everything that comes next.
